A B O U T M E
My real name is Charlotte, but I am also known as Lotte. I am a 23-year-old bio-engineer student from Belgium. I'm in my final year and am working on my thesis. I'm majoring in the environmental technologies, with a specific interest for wastewater treatment. As a minor, I follow subjects concerning agricultural and environmental economics.
My native language is Flemish, but I also speak some French and, of course, English.
I'm not a very sportsmanlike person, but I force myself to do some sport every semester at uni. I have followed badminton, dancing, fencing and at the moment I'm completing a start-to-run course.
My preferred type of music is rather alternative. My bands usually get categorized under metal, but I don't always agree.
I love to read, but I don't always have the time for it. Nothing is more relaxing, though, then curling up with a good book. To see a full record of the books I read this year, see my booklist.

Ever changing
HARRY POTTER was my very first fandom. I loved and love the series, although I didn't really like the final chapter of book 7. Totally unnecessary IMO. I'm a Draco lover and Fire & Ice shipper.
I adore the TWILIGHT series by Stephenie Meyer. I desperately need to get my hands on Eclipse. I'm totally excited about the planned TWILIGHT film, and am becoming rather fond of Robert Pattinson in the role of Edward.
I'm totally addicted to the CW show SUPERNATURAL, where I'm completely devoted to my Sam.
I have fallen head over heals over DOCTOR WHO and it's spinoff TORCHWOOD. Truely two amazing series!
The BBC website annoys me to no end for not letting people outside the UK view the site properly *grumbles* At least I'm able to participate in the Torchwood quests *keeps fingers crossed*
